Business Partnerships

Strong relationships have been developed with a range of industry partners who support and invest in the Centre's research.

 

The Centre has a long history of close collaboration with Patrick Corporation in the areas of stevedoring, cargo handling and logistics. Successful development programmes with Patrick has put Australia at the forefront of field robotics development.

 

There has been a rapidly increasing worldwide interest in defence and security applications of autonomous systems.  The Centre has developed strong partnerships in Australia and overseas in this application domain. The Centre has formed a long-standing relationship with BAE Systems in the area of data fusion and autonomous systems.

 

The Centre has an excellent relationship with the Australia Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO), and established a 'DSTO Centre of Expertise' in Unmanned and Autonomous Systems.
